NASHIVO 0.3.0

Make it your own.

Practical guidance for the Nashivo Shopify theme. From your first install to the finishing details.

01

Install your theme

In Shopify admin, open Online Store → Themes → Import theme → Upload ZIP. Choose Nashivo-0.3.0.zip, not the outer delivery-kit ZIP. Uploading creates an unpublished theme.

Open the theme editor and configure the draft before publishing. Keep a duplicate of your current theme so you can return to it. Your products, orders, shipping, payments and taxes belong to the store; installing a theme does not configure them.

02

Set your brand

In Theme settings, configure Store logo, Logo width and Favicon. Brand & color provides Background, Text, Accent and Surface colors. Typography provides Headings and Body font pickers.

Choose colors with readable text contrast. Test both languages and mobile layouts after changing fonts. In Header and Footer, select your store navigation menus; nested navigation follows the Shopify menu structure.

03

Build your homepage

Immersive hero: choose an image, heading, body copy, primary/secondary links and discovery label. Use a wide image with a clear focal point and enough contrast behind text. Editorial hero remains available as a separate section.

Category slider: add category blocks, each with a title, collection or link, and an image. Set real collection links for your shop. Demo tag links require the matching tags. The rail scrolls by touch, keyboard and directional controls when available.

Curated product edit and Featured collection: assign collections and product counts. Product edit adds links to choose product options. Image & story pairs an image with copy and a link; Reverse layout changes its composition.

Use the editor to add, hide or reorder sections. Rich text, Featured product, Custom Liquid and app sections are available for suitable templates. Replace demonstration copy and images before using your store for real sales.

04

Products, variants & stock

Create products and options in Shopify Products. The theme reads variant prices, availability and quantity rules from Shopify. On a product page, select the finish or other options, set a quantity and add the item to the bag. Unavailable choices disable purchase.

The product editor supports Vendor, Title, Price, Description, Variant picker, Buy buttons, Pickup availability, collapsible rows and app blocks. Accelerated checkout depends on the store payment configuration and the selected variant.

Track inventory at the correct location. A product can have both available and sold-out finishes. Product cards can show a vendor and a secondary image on hover, controlled by Theme settings.

05

Images, video & 3D

Upload product images, hosted videos or supported 3D models in the Shopify product media area. The theme renders the supplied media using Shopify’s native media components. External video sources must be supported by Shopify.

Provide descriptive alt text for product photographs. Images should be sharp at the displayed size without unnecessary file weight. Crop and focal point choices affect different screen sizes.

3D and augmented reality require compatible media, a compatible device and platform support. Test the actual model on the intended device; a desktop preview does not establish AR compatibility.

06

Collections, filters & search

Create your collections in Shopify and assign them to homepage sections. The collection template offers sorting and the filters provided by Shopify. Configure available filters through Shopify Search & Discovery.

Product inventory, prices and filter availability come from your catalog. A filter can produce no results; remove active filters to return to the collection. Search suggestions depend on Shopify’s predictive search service.

Recommendations use Shopify’s related/complementary product configuration. Curate them in Search & Discovery for a consistent catalog; unrelated sample products in the store can otherwise appear.

07

English, Arabic & markets

Add and publish the language in Shopify Settings → Languages, and assign it to the appropriate market/domain. The footer language selector appears when multiple published languages are available.

Theme controls, editor labels and authored default copy include English and Arabic. Arabic applies RTL layout and mirrored directional links. Product names, descriptions, options, menus, collections and copy you customize need Shopify resource translations, such as Translate & Adapt.

Country choices follow active Shopify Markets. A country is not hardcoded into Nashivo. Translation CSV resource IDs belong to the store that exported them; never reuse another store’s IDs.

08

Bag & checkout

Nashivo uses a full cart page with quantities, order notes and Shopify checkout. Change an item’s quantity and choose Update bag, or use Remove for that item. Review shipping, taxes and payment configuration separately in Shopify.

The release does not include a drawer cart or wishlist. Gift-card recipient fields and supported discounts/selling plans depend on product, app and store configuration.

Before publishing, test an available variant, a sold-out variant, a quantity update and checkout using the store owner’s approved test process. Never enter real card details for a demonstration product.

09

Pages, contact & policies

Create your About, Contact and policy content in Shopify. Assign the contact template to a page when you need the native Shopify store contact form, then add that page to navigation. This form contacts the merchant, not the theme support team.

Shopify manages policy pages, customer accounts and checkout. Configure the appropriate templates and links for blog posts, collection lists, search, password, gift card and 404 pages. Do not publish blank placeholder pages.

10

Updates & safe customization

Duplicate the active theme before making code changes. Upload a new version as a separate unpublished theme, transfer settings deliberately and re-test your important pages. Publish only after reviewing the new version.

Keep a record of custom code and app integrations. Custom development is separate from theme support; changes to theme code may need to be reapplied after updating. Ask a qualified Shopify Partner for help if you are unsure.

11

Optional demonstration catalog

The separate product CSV contains 12 fictional furniture products and 36 finish variants. These are illustrative products and prices. Images are original generated demonstration assets, not photographs of goods offered for sale.

Import sample data only when you intentionally need a demonstration catalog. Leave overwrite-matching-handles unchecked. Inventory and translation CSVs in the delivery kit target the development store; export fresh data for your own locations and resource IDs.

Replace demo tag links, branding, images and product copy. Remove unrelated samples from the visible demo experience. A theme ZIP is separate from the optional data import.

Troubleshooting & FAQ

A collection looks empty: check that it is assigned, products are active and published to Online Store, and active filters are not excluding them. A sold-out option: check inventory for that exact variant and location.

The language selector is missing: publish another language and check its domain/market assignment. Some text stays English: translate the product/menu/custom section resource as well as the theme controls.

A payment or pickup option is missing: review store, location and payment configuration. Theme installation cannot activate these services. For an issue, send the page URL, theme version, browser/device, steps and a screenshot to support. Do not send passwords or full payment details.
